Tusb3410 Boot Device Driver Win7

Hi, I have an LG 27 EA83R-D monitor which has USB 3.0 hub. When I connect it to the computer with USB cable provided with monitor, I get a new item in the device manager 'Other Devises' with TUSB3410 Boot Devise with exclamation sign in yellow triangle. When I go to properties it says The driver for this devise is not installed (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

I already googled it, but did not find any definite information. I'm guessing that the USB3 socket is for attaching a USB external drive - possibly - or perhaps a webcam. Cannot think of any real reason for having it on the monitor - although some USB sockets on monitors can be used for webcams to link with such as android tv boxes So try attaching one and then any drivers should be found. It appears the hub as such does not have drivers available if nothing connected. This is just a guess but attaching any USB3 device may well resolve the problem. You could check Device Manager to see if any USB3 is shown in the listing of all USB components. Is there nothing in the monitor's manual (if you don't have one - try the website to see if one is available).

Hi, Nothing changes if I connect devices to it. I've connected external hard drive and it does not work properly.

When I connect same hard drive dirrectly to the computer, everything is OK. Same with card reader. I've had USB hub on monitor before and there wasn't any problems. I will try another USB cable to connect monitors hub to the computer. What Windows version are you using? Do you have the latest service pack (for example, SP1 with Win 7) and all updates installed?

In the user guide for that display, it has a warning that the latest Service Pack needs to be installed in Windows on the page about connecting the USB 3.0 hub. See page 16: Did you install the display drivers included on disk with your monitor? See page 17 of that manual.

Usually, that's only video specific stuff (profiles, etc.), but perhaps hub drivers are also installed. I'd install the drivers as shown starting on page 17 and see if that makes any difference. Are you connecting it to a USB 3.0 port with working USB 3.0 drivers on your existing PC, or are you trying to use a USB 2.0 port with it? Since it's a USB 3.0 hub, perhaps it needs to be connected to a USB 3.0 port. That's just speculation, and USB 3.0 devices are supposed to be backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports.

But, perhaps a USB 3.0 hub works differently (again, speculation). As for your external hard drive, some hubs are not powered hubs, and don't provide enough power to an external hard drive if you're trying to use one of the port powered drives with it (versus a drive with a separate power connection). Have you tried any other devices like a keyboard or mouse with the ports on the display? If they work, then chances are, it just doesn't provide enough power for devices like a USB port powered hard drive, and you'd need to use a powered hub with them (or direct connect them to the PC instead). Yep.USB Hub drivers are included when you install the drivers that came on disk with it. I just downloaded the drivers separately from their download page for software updates for your display, and took a look at what was inside of TUSB3410V3.4.rar file for it This file: There are.inf files in some of the windows-common folders that install things like Texas Instruments USB drivers for the hub on that display. So, you need to install the drivers from the disk included with your display. Again, see page 17 of the larger manual for it for instructions (and the larger user guide should also be on the disk that came with your monitor).

JimC - Hi Jim, Thank you for you help. I am a little embarrassed that I did not find it myself.

It was too late yesterday when I finished installation of new SSD and all Windows and software. Apparently this TUSB3410 relates to True Color Finder - LG's calibration software which allows to calibrate monitors internal LUT. To answer your questions: I am connecting monitors hub to USB 3.0 port on my computer. My external HD (WD My Book) has it's own power source and does not depend on USB power.

What is happening is, when I restart computer, it does not see external hard drive. When computer sees it, I can not copy to and/or from it. But when I connect HD to USB port on the computer, everything is fine. I will try another USB cable to connect monitor to computer and try to connect to another computer for starters. Then we will see.

Did you install the drivers? As mentioned in my other post about it, the driver files include Texas Instruments USB drivers for that hub. IOW, you need to install the drivers on that disk for starters.

See my post here about them: IOW, I download the latest TUSB3410 driver file (in.rar format) separately and extracted it, and I see.inf files in the windows-common folders in it that are installing TI USB drivers (that could only be for the HUB on that display, otherwise why would LG be installing USB related drivers). So, the driver installation procedure outlined on page 17 of the manual I linked to should be installing them for you so that your display's USB 3.0 hub will work. JimC - Yesterday I've sorted it out. This 'Other Devices' item appears in Devise manager only when LG monitor is ON.

When monitor is OFF, this item disappears from device manager and USB hub was still working. I installed TUSB3410 drivers and this solved the other devices with no driver problem in device manager. Apparently this TUSB3410 driver is for some device in the monitor where it stores internal LUT. As for external hard drive, I uipdated firmware and it seems working. Thanks for your help.
