Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 V2

My PhotoDraw has been operating fine but today when I tried to open the programme I keep getting asked 'Would you like to register your copy of Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 v' with Microsoft?' Whether I click yes or no the result is the same the front page and therefore the whole program closes. I have tried reinstalling without any change. Can any one help me please?? The following retired MSKB article is very outdated but maybe it will offer some ideas on how to correct the issue. (have patience.the article can be very slow to open).
