Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online. When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game!. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!. Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools.
In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem!. I am on windows 10, I was playing last night without any issue, with everything on very high with a constant 60fps, now it has trouble going to 10fps. My windows updated while I was sleeping, the game updated this morning. Only those updates happenned in the time between the two play sessions. Specs: i7 2600k, gtx 970, 16g ddr3 ram, 4to hdd After applying the update this morning, my game crashed two times when trying to launch it, crashed another time when loading my last save, and now it can load the save but as mentionned fps is now absurdly low. Is there something in the patch that could have caused this?
If you know of a way to have a diagnostic tool give you more info on what might be going on behind the scene let me know and I'll do my best to give you more info. Also it might help to have more feedback if there was a place where patch notes were posted like an official forum or something. Because apart from news site and review and I couldn't find any info on a place for tech support for this game, I searched for a good hour to find patch notes or a forum where the info could be.
